What exactly is Dermaplaning?
Also known as epidermal leveling or blading, Dermaplaning removes the top-most layer of facial skin with a specially designed tool, eliminating dead skin cells, fine facial hair and minor surface imperfections. Many clients combine their dermaplaning treatment with a facial - click HERE for more details about my Dermaplane Facials.
What is Dermaplaning used for?
Dermaplaning is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that makes the skin feel smoother, and appear healthier and more youthful - and with no recovery time and no major side effects.
How many treatments will I need?
Clients always notice the difference in the texture and feel of their skin following a Dermaplaning treatment!
Who should NOT have Dermaplaning?
You should avoid Dermaplaning until after any open wound or lesions have healed.
What should I do before my treatment?
All of my Skin Correction treatments ideally start with healthy and well hydrated skin. A good skincare regime, good nutrition, and plenty of water in the weeks before treatment will help ensure the best outcome for you.
What should I do after my treatment?
You will be given full aftercare instructions at the time of your treatment, which may include the following:
Avoid active skincare products for 3-4 days after treatment.
Use the skin products recommended.
Avoid sun exposure, and protect your skin with sunscreen and regular re-application.
Avoid excessive exercise, including swimming, spa or sauna for 24 hours after treatment.
Stay well hydrated.
